When 9/11 happened, I was only 10 years old. I was sitting in my 5th grade computer class. It was an oddly beautiful day, and the tone for the day seemed to be positive. However, the events that took place that day were quite the opposite. As the confusion became a reality, the realization that somebody tried to shake my countries patriotism that day still hurts. That fact that so many lives were taken senselessly, and so many families were torn is something that will never be forgotten. The good thing is that, although they tried to shake my patriotism, they didn’t take it away.
